Art Therapy Supervision in Maryland and Colorado

A space to grow, connect, and collaborate

What to expect from supervision

As a mental health therapist licensed to practice both art therapy and counseling, I have a range of knowledge and experience from my time working in this field. It can be challenging as a new therapist to find your footing, understand your therapist identity, and establish a caseload that you truly connect with. In supervision, we’ll work through any challenges that might arise within client work and continue to refine your skills. Individual supervision allows us to really dive in and get tailored, 1:1 support that supports you on your unique journey to being the best clinician you can be.

Creativity: As an art therapist, creativity is everything. This means we can adapt anything in supervision or clinical work to make sense for you (whether you’re an art therapist or not).

Collaboration: Everything we work on is a true collaboration and space for finding the answers together. We will explore the possible paths and discover what works best for you.

Empowerment: I practice from a strength-based and intersectional feminist perspective. I strive to help you gain confidence in your strengths and utilize them to your benefit.

Growth: That’s what supervision is all about. We all have growing edges to work on and I’ll be there to guide you in the right directions to growing and expanding your skills.

Individuality: As a truly humanistic, person-centered, and lover of values, I base my supervision approaches on what works best for you. I may have my opinions, but I want your clinical decisions to really represent you and your values, not mine.
