Tele Darden, she/her
Art Therapy Intern
Supervised by Elizabeth Allen, LCPAT, LCPC, LPC, ATR-BC
Hi, I’m Tele.
“The only thing constant is change.” - Octavia Butler.
If you’re standing at the threshold of a major life transition and you’re looking for someone to accompany you through the uncertainty, fear, grief, and ever-changing emotional landscape as you find your way to a new normal, I’m so glad you found me.
Whether you’re taking on a new personal or professional role, trying to find a new way of being in complex relationships, or just ready for your inner and outer worlds to feel more aligned, welcome.
My job is to support you in trusting your truth and inner guidance, as you create your own path without sacrificing belonging. Together, we work to understand and unravel the systemic, cultural, family, and personal patterns that brought you here to this moment, envision who and how you want to be moving forward, and create grounded, doable steps towards a more authentic way of being.
A few things that might be helpful to know about working with me:
My core values are Liberation, Trust, Embodiment, and Wonder. I believe in presence over perfection. I support diverse spiritual beliefs on a spectrum from agnostic to devout; your well-in-spirit ancestors and/or astrology forecast are welcome, but not required.
I tend to have the best rapport with folks who hold any or all of the following identities: neurodivergent, highly sensitive, chronically ill, LGBTQIA+, non-binary & genderqueer, and/or People of the Global Majority (racialized identities).
I’ve been working in holistic healing and wellness spaces since 2007, have over a decade of somatic and trauma-informed experience, and bring a transpersonal, feminist, parts-informed, existential approach to art therapy.
You don’t have to be an artist to benefit from this approach; creative curiosity and openness to what might be possible is good enough.
Tele is an art therapy intern, currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Art Therapy. She is currently in her third and final year of training and is under the clinical supervision of Elizabeth Allen, LCPAT, LPC, LCPC, ATR-BC.
